        This allows us to offer our clients a wide spectrum of services, some of which are unparalleled in this country.

Sales of horses

Purchasing horses from Russia is a tricky business. The country's formidable size, its economic and political instability, lack of comforts, etc., make traveling in Russia an adventure, to put it mildly — some call it nightmare. On the other hand, selling Russian horses to US and even European buyers, who are thousands of kilometers away, takes a Russian or Western bloodstock agent much time and effort.
        Therefore, we have developed various procedures supposed to cover most of possible situations.

Buying in Moscow
A horse for sale may stand in Moscow or be brought to Moscow from a stud, which may be hundreds of kilometers away. You (or your trainer/agent) may come to Moscow, where we will look after you (see Hospitality below) and show you around. Once you have chosen a horse, we make a contract and take over the vet, registration, and customs paperwork. Transportation is negotiable.

Traveling to studs
Russian studs are spread over a huge territory. Depending on the breed, studs may be concentrated in Central or Southern Russia, the Northern Caucasus, or even Siberia. We can organize tours with an agreed itinerary. We do not guarantee first-class hotels and all, but we will do our best. We will make preliminary arrangements with the studs'management, educate and consult you. Our fees may or may not include commission.

Selling via overseas partners
We are looking for foreign partners to sell horses in respective regions of the world. An ideal partner will be a person/company with a good reputation in the close-knit horsy community of his country and the region, experience and interest in Russian horses. We will instruct the person and provide him/her with adequate promotion materials. Fees are negotiable.

Auctions abroad
We are prepared to consider proposals for holding auctions of Russian horses abroad.

Veterinary

We normally have reasonable vet examinations, blood counts and tests made at our Moscow facilities, at authorized Russian institutions, and abroad. These are tests required by international competent authorities for export and transportation of horses. We can have X-rays made. Any additional tests are generally done at the customer's expense. We prepare all the vet documents.

Piroplasmosis
Piroplasmosis is a problem in certain places in Southern Russia. We can have piro-tests made in Russia and elsewhere. We do our best to protect our own horses from that disease.

Concealed defects
We stipulate it in our contracts that should a horse within a month's time appear to be unsound due to some concealed defect, we undertake to take the horse back or replace it, ore return the money, as agreed.

Insurance

We normally ensure up to the customer's van's ramp in Russia or to the border. When transporting horses by air, we may cover till destination.

Customs

We take over the export customs clearance formalities in Russia and pay all the export duties required in Russia.

Transpostation of horses

We can transport horses by trailer or plane from stud to Moscow, from Moscow to the Russian/Byelorussian border, from Moscow to a destination abroad.

Guest exhibitions & performances

We promote guest exhibitions of the Museum of Horse Breeding, a unique museum of The Russian Horse with hundreds of equine paintings, sculptures, photographs, saddlery and tack. It held successful expositions in Dresden, Helsinki, and Paris.

We can also help with guest performance tours of Russian equine circus groups, especially jighitovka ones.

Services to expats in Russia

Expats in Russia may use our riding center at Sokolniki in Moscow. The center is located at an old Moscow park, which is only a 15- minutes ride from the center of Moscow. We have an outdoor riding field and two indoor arenas, a bar and an equine store, where you can buy Western-made equine goods. Some of our trainers speak English.
     Some expats buy horses from us or via us and stand them at our facilities, others simply ride our horses. We charge for stabling, boarding, use of the arenas, vet & farrier services only $350 per month. Lessons of various levels are negotiable.
